From beauty productsย to crystals and teas, here are five things you can get to make your everyday life holistic.

Lush’s Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar: I have really oily hair. Not the “my hair gets oily three days after I wash my hair”, I have the “I washed my hair yesterday but look at that, it’s still oily” kind of hair. With its citrus and lavender scent, this shampoo is one of the few that can control my very oily hair. And yes, it’s a vegan product!

e.l.f. Tinted Moisturizer: Going through the makeup detoxย has been one of the hardest things to do, especially when it comes to buying powder (damn you, talc!). Luckily, I found out that e.l.f. (also known as Eyes Lips Face) sells vegan products at a low price! So I ran to the nearest local drugstore and got myself this tinted moisturizer and was immediately in love with it. It has light coverage and SPF 20 so it’s great for everyday use.

Traditional Medicinal’s Throat Coat: I may not be sick, but I am obsessed with this tea! ย Echinacea is great for people who want to boost their immune system but it’s the lemony taste that makes me want to drink this tea nonstop. I highly recommend it to those who are beginners in tea drinking as well as those who are as obsessed with lemon as I am.

Malachite: With it’s eye catching green hues, malachite is the Stone of Transformation, helping us to change situations and provide spiritual growth. It draws out impurities and stimulates the life force throughout the aura and body.

Smudging with Sage: Mostly used when someone feels stuck, negative, sluggish, or even depressed, smudging can help combat negativity and help one start anew. What you use for smudging depends on your location and what plant you have access to. I don’t have a feather or an abalone shell, but I hope to get them soon.

  1. That malachite is gorgeous – my favorite shade of green. I adore Lush products – have you tried the Yuzu and Cocoa body wash? It smells just like a Cadbury chocolate orange. SO good! I’ve never tried their hair care. Do they have anything for dry hair? I perm mine so yeah, there could probably be a happy medium between you and me.:)

    1. I haven’t tried the body wash, but it sounds divine so I’ll get it next time I go to their store! Lush has a shampoo bar called Godiva, but if you’re into shampoos I recommend Curly Wurly and Blousey which are great for dry hair.
