Amethyst is often used as the Artist’s Stone, the Composer’s Stone, the Inventor’s, Poet’s, and Painter’s Stones. Keeping a crystal or a cluster in the work area can help amplify creative elements.

In Ancient Rome itΒ was used to prevent drunkenness and was used to assist in getting rid of addictions like alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc, as well as destructive compulsive behaviors.

On the other hand, this crystal is also called an “All-Healer” because it can counteract negative energies on the body or anywhere that feels dangerous. It also soothes, and relieves OCD and hyperactivity and can stimulate pleasant dreams.

Amethyst is mostly used to help heal personal losses and grief, promoting peacefulness, happiness, and contentment. It also brings emotional stability and inner strength and enhance flexibility and cooperation. It is also great for healing headaches, pain relief, arthritis, diabetes, chronic fatigue, asthma, phobias, PMS, menopause, phobias, fibromyalgia, and immune system deficiencies.

This crystal is a type of quartz that is full of energy and power of the typical Quartz. It is extremely helpful if you put it in an area where plants will not grow or animals refuse to sit and can bring balance to every home.

Because of it’s gorgeous purple hue and the high energy that Amethyst carries, it is very stimulating to the Third Eye and Crown chakra and is great crystal for meditation.

I could talk on and on about Amethyst because it has a bunch of properties that can help anyone in their everyday lives. I honestly recommend this crystal for everyone who wants to incorporate crystal therapy in their everyday lives and also for people who suffer insomnia because it soothes the mind and promotes a restful sleep.
